Roger and Lita Daep is a Filipino couple that immigrated to the United States in 1969.  There they settled in the Midwest to live and raise their family.  Roger has had many successes as an engineer and family man.  Lita has been very involved in her church and community.  Leading countless souls to the Lord, leading bible studies, spearheading prayer groups and reaching out to others by a kind word and hospitality they are well known for showing.  However, it was not enough.  For many years they have yearned for something more.  In their hearts they have felt that God had a mission for them back in their homeland of the Philippines.   

Genesis 31:3 (NIV) states:  “Then the Lord said to Jacob, ‘Go back to the land of your fathers and to your relatives, and I will be with you.’ They have answered this call by leaving behind family, friends and a comfortable life in the United States in order to fulfill their call to spread the word of God in their native land.  In April 2004 they went to Manila and started a church just outside the city.  In the short time since beginning this mission, the church has exploded with growth and the meeting room they were occupying is filled to capacity.  The people are hungry for what the church has to offer them.  Many that come span from a variety of segments within the Filipino community including young people to senior citizens, affluent to poor.  Despite the diversity they have one thing in common…They need God and what he has to offer.
